US Airways To Eliminate Curbside Check-In At 34 Domestic Airports Including
Atlanta And New York JFK
Starting today, passengers traveling on US Airways who wish to check their bags curbside may want to check and see if such service still exists.
Previously, US Airways provided curbside check-in at 64 US Airports.
US Airways will begin charging travelers for every bag they check. The charge is $15 for the first bag and $25 for the second bag on all routes served by US Airways, except Europe. There is also an additional $2 per bag fee for curbside check-in at airports where they still offer the service. The service will be eliminated at 32 airports including Los Angeles LAX International, New York JFK and Atlanta Hartsfield.
