American Airlines To Discontinue Nonstop Service From Chicago O'Hare To 15
Destinations Including Honolulu And Buenos Aires.
This fall, American Airlines plans to reduce its American and American Eagle
service from Chicago O'Hare to 431 daily flights due to rising fuel prices.
American plans to cut nonstop service entirely to Honolulu and Buenos Aires.
American will reduce service to Portland (OR) to a seasonal basis.
American Eagle will discontinue nonstop service from Chicago O'Hare to Albany
(NY), Birmingham (AL), Baton Rouge (LA), Gulfport (MS), Greenville/Spartanburg
(SC), Jackson (MS), New York JFK, Lexington (KY), Harrisburg (PA), Pensacola,
Providence, Shreveport (LA) and Fort Walton Beach (FL).
