For the next several days, we are having a super hot airfare sale to sunny Florida with airfares starting as low as $129 roundtrip including all taxes.
When we checked the average temperature for February in Orlando, it came in at a nice 73 degrees, but there are some 80 degree days in February as well!
Tampa and Clearwater located on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, average about the same as Orlando. However, Ft. Lauderdale, the city that also has some sweet hot airfares, average in the 75 to 80 degree range in January.
Hands down when it comes to airfares to Ft. Lauderdale across America, Ft. Lauderdale wins in weather and also cheap airfares.
The cheapest days to travel are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Traveling on Fridays and Sundays will be higher.

Prices are based on a seven-nights stay for midweek travel departing February 22 and returning Feb. 29, 2012.
